Aaron Sutton

Lighting Design

A student and 3-year member of production crew at North Catholic High School, Aaron was a technician for productions including Once Upon a Mattress, and The Wiz. In the 2018-2019 academic year, Aaron was lead lighting designer for a production of Willy Wonka. Outside of theater, Aaron was a lighting technician for two successive years of North Catholic's Trojan Triumph Gala.

Aaron is a technician for the Keystone State Music Theater. Assisting in a production of The Music Man, and serving as a lighting and sound technician for junior productions of The Wizard of Oz and The Lion King, in addition to a professional production of Footloose.

Beginning in 2018, Aaron began working with The Strand Theater Initiative— a nonprofit dedicated to serving as a cultural center and reviving local theatrics in Zelienople, Pennsylvania— and has been lighting designer for their production of Bye Bye Birdie.

In 2019, Aaron continues work with Affordable Productions, and designed another year of Trojan Triumph Gala and a production of High School Musical.

Live Sound

Aaron has experience in sound engineering settings including live theater and choral concert mixing. Aaron is a sound engineer for the local nonprofit A Circle of Friends Choirs.
